Zoom Sit
You are warmly invited to attend our bi-weekly sit at 4 PM on the first and third Mondays of each month, held online via Zoom.
Sits on the second and fourth Mondays (and the fifth Monday when there is one) are offered in a hybrid format, with the option to join us in person at the Community Hall (formerly the Parish Hall) of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, located in the 200 block of Mulberry Street in Lewes, or to connect online via Zoom.
Please enter the meeting before 4pm so we can all be settled in for the sit, and have the option to visit a bit before the bell.
For meeting links and announcements about the sit, please subscribe to our subscribe to our mailing list.

The benefits of a silent meditation sit are enormous. In order to do this, one must focus on their breath and clear their mind. The main idea behind silent meditation is to remain in silence and focus on your breathing. It is important to distinguish between silent meditation and “mindfulness” in that mindfulness is an act of being present in the moment while silent meditation is an act of clearing your mind.
Step-by-step instructions on how to do an Insight Meditation Sit can be found in this Lion’s Roar article.
