Larissa Kitenko 4th Mondays
Join us for meditation, Dharma talk, and Q&A facilitated by our guest teacher, Larissa Kitenko. This will be held on the 4th Monday of every month except June and July.
Larissa is a longtime practitioner of Insight Meditation, studies and practices Buddhism in the Theravadan tradition. She has completed the Community Dharma Leader-4 Program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center (SRMC) in California with Mary Grace Orr (SRMC) as her mentor and guiding teacher. Her training also includes completion of the Dedicated Practitioner Program in 2010 also through SRMC, and participation in IMCW’s Teacher Training Program, guided by Tara Brach, Ph.D.
Larissa has completed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training with Jon Kabat-Zinn and has been teaching MBSR since 2005. She is certified as an Associate Clinical Chaplain at Shore Health System in Easton, MD and volunteers at Talbot Hospice Foundation. She leads the Easton Meditation Sangha, teaches at the Salisbury Buddhist Community as well as teaches classes and daylong retreats on the Eastern Shore and Mid-Atlantic region.
