Hybrid Sit
You are warmly invited to attend our bi-weekly hybrid sit at 4 PM on the second and fourth Mondays of each month (and the fifth Monday when there is one).
You may join us in person at the Community Hall (formerly the Parish Hall) of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, located in the 200 block of Mulberry Street in Lewes, or connect with us online via Zoom.
Sits held on the first and third Mondays are Zoom-only.
Please enter the meeting before 4pm so we can all be settled in for the sit, and have the option to visit a bit before the bell.
For meeting links and announcements about the hybrid sit, please subscribe to our subscribe to our mailing list.

The benefits of a silent meditation sit are enormous. In order to do this, one must focus on their breath and clear their mind. The main idea behind silent meditation is to remain in silence and focus on your breathing. It is important to distinguish between silent meditation and “mindfulness” in that mindfulness is an act of being present in the moment while silent meditation is an act of clearing your mind.
Step-by-step instructions on how to do an Insight Meditation Sit can be found in this Lion’s Roar article.
