Buddhist author and meditation teacher, Shaila Catherine, is the founder of Bodhi Courses, an online Dhamma classroom, and Insight Meditation South Bay, a center for mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom in Silicon Valley, in California.
Written in 2022, this book offers an accessible strategy for training the mind on removing distracting thoughts in meditation practice. Following the Buddha’s approach, each chapter offers exercises and reflections to achieve deeper concentration by directing attention more skillfully to eliminate stressful, anxious, hurtful, and resentful thoughts and, thus, to cultivate growth and stability in one’s meditation practice.
