Carl Skooglund of The Insight Meditation Community of Washington, DC, will lead a half-day retreat.
The retreat will include a Dharma talk related to our theme of Deepening Our Practice On and Off the Cushion, sitting and walking meditation, and some light stretching.

Carl Skooglund is a charter member of the board of Insight Meditation Community of Washington, DC. Carl taught the first IMC-W Family Meditation class from 2000-2010. He has participated in IMC-W’s sutta study groups since 2002 and trained with Spirit Rock’s Community Dharma Leader program from 2005-2008. Since 2015 Carl has been on the regular teacher rotation of the IMC-W Takoma Park class. He is the author of the article The Question of Essential Human Goodness, Keeping Your Eye on the Ball, and Book Review: The Making of Buddhist Modernism, by David McMahon.
